We're here...to enhance the mental health and well being of Township
residents. |

You can find peace of mind in the
knowledge that the River Forest Township Mental Health
Committee is working to enhance the
mental health and development potential of residents by establishing a
continuum of community based services that are cost-effective,
systematically evaluated and responsive to evolving mental health needs.
River Forest Township contracts with
the
Community Mental Health Board (CMHB)
of Oak Park Township to provide administrative services for our
Mental Health Committee and
information and referral services for River Forest residents.

The Mental Health
Committee contracts with
CMHB whose mission is fulfilled through
partnerships with community agencies. These agencies provide a flexible
network of easily accessible services for the treatment and prevention
of mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse.
Services include case management, supervised housing, psychiatric
treatment, volunteer opportunities, 24-hour crisis management and
social/recreational services. |
