Hello Again, River Forest Seniors!

I'm honored to introduce myself as the new River Forest Township Supervisor. Some of you may remember me from my time as River Forest Township Clerk until 2021 - I'm thrilled to return and continue serving the community I care so much about.

I've always admired the wonderful work the Township does providing human services to our Seniors and I'm excited to help carry that mission forward.

River Forest Township works closely with the Oak Park Township to provide senior services and programming to both our communities. Click here to see all the senior programming available for River Forest residents at the Oak Park Township including lunch daily.

To register for any program at the River Forest Civic Center, 8020
Madison Street, you can call Yazmin at 708-383-8060 or for registration for a specific program, call the program hotline at 708-725-9129.

Free Passes Available to the
Chicago Botanic Garden

The passes expire on December 31, 2027 and
include access to the seasonal attractions including the Model
Railroad, Butterflies in Bloom, and Tram Tours. The free passes are first come first serve and are limited to one per resident. If you'd like a pass please call Supervisor Druckman at 708-366-2029 (extension 4), email supervisor@riverforesttownship.org or drop by the River Forest Township office on the second floor of the River Forest Civic Center, 8020 Madison Street.

Note: The library also has book clubs if you are interested (as does Oak Park Township and the Lifelong Learning program through the Park District of Oak Park) Don't forget you can borrow a "hotspot" from your local library, so you can get access to wi-fi when needed. (i.e. if you are traveling or don't have wi-fi at home this will give you access). Call your library for more information.

Property Tax News

You should have received your second installment tax bill in the mail and the due date is October 1st. You can view and pay your bill with the Cook County Treasurer or at any local Chase Bank.
