Addiction Prevention & Treatment
River Forest Township works with local agency partners to fund a wide range of programs in the areas of behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, domestic violence, underage substance use and addiction recovery.
The following agencies receive funding from River Forest Township to provide ADDICTION PREVENTION and TREATMENT services to our community.
Way Back Inn - provides treatment programs for those recovering from alcohol, drug or gambling addictions. RFT funds community outreach and services.
Positive Youth Development (+PYD) - is a Community Coalition of public and private partners that serves Oak Park and River Forest residents by identifying needs and evidence-based solutions surrounding preventing teen substance use.
